So I've been away for a while and I don't know if anyone has really noticed but I wanted to let everyone know that I'm still doing my 365 and such, my laptop just got a nasty virus and well it's killer. I'm also busy packing for university but I am still focusing on this project. I just didn't want anyone to think I have given up or anything bad happened...
I'm just merely waiting to get my laptop and CS5 back in my life =p

@maccaveen computers arghh, I was told Applle or Mac computers can't get a virus ever so there is only mechanical issues, i was also told they last up to ten years average
Is it true?
I 'm older than you and my closet houses three computers in it, broke down or a virus.
I just thought maybe you could benefit from a Mac

@missvicki http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/entertainment/51832910-81/mac-click-virus-software.html.csp as far as lasting 10 years, yes, they can, but the software will be outdated and you will own a brick. now i know there will be mac lovers out there ready to scream i am wrong, but let me prove a point on this. imac G5 running mac os 10.4. i have not been able to update the os, and itunes, google chrome, and many other apps require os 10.5 minimum. i have several mac friends that agree, there are lots of advantages to mac, but all have weaknesses. also, we are coming up on an era that is beginning to change from pc to tablets, so 10, even 5 years from now there will be lots of changes in the tech area.

@maccaveen i can completely understand the frustration of a down system, i have been down that road once or twice. I have found external hard drives are my friend. i suggest the smaller ones, so you don't need a power supply with them. good luck at the university!
