Does anyone have a Pentax kr? I am looking to buy a macro lens, can anyone give me advise or recommendations? I want to be able to photograph insect life so want something where I dont have to get too close.
I have a K200, not the KR, but for insects you'll want a 100mm lens. I think you can get the Pentax 100mm macro for around $750. Tamron makes a 90mm macro with the K mount too, don't know how much it costs. pentaxforums.com is a great resource for Pentax fans, they have a Pentax lens database, lots of lens reviews, etc.
