I kind of wish there was a like button sometimes...

I just think people would be in lazy in commenting, but sometimes I wish to acknowledge that I have read someone's comment and don't quite know what to say.

@miley89

Just say... I Like You...

(well, it doesn't really sound that nice if you think at it another way...)

Hahahah!!! :D Yeah... I get your point. :)

that would take all the heart out of commenting though. if you love a photo, you can spend twenty seconds saying so.

There have been a lot of discussions on here about this in the past year. The consensus seems to be that it would ruin the commenting because people wouldn't take the time to actually express their feelings on the photo and this site or that part of it would become less personal. @miley89 thank you seems to work usually. Someother discussions on here about multiple replies in the same comment seems impersonal, so most 365er's seem to understand that if you don't acknowledge every single comment they have made on your project, its ok, just give them a thank you once in a while to let them know you haven't forgot about them.

@miley89 In other threads on similar subjects, the consensus seemed to be to comment on their pic and at the same time, mention your appreciation every once in a while. That way you are reciprocating the view/comment and not clogging the notification tab with thanks which they already know you appreciate anyway.

i sometimes wish there was a like button on the discussion threads, i can live without it on the photos,just sometimes someone says something that i really agree with or that makes me laugh etc and i want to acknowledge it,easily done when it is near the end of the thread but if it is the first ,2nd,3rd post or whatever in a long thread by the time i have read to the end to comment i can often forget who it was or what exactly they said that i liked so much(my brain doesn't retain information very well in the short term
