Custom Framing

I ordered a custom frame today with matting and foam backing it was $83.51 for a 15x18 frame which included shipping. Now the frame was wood but really? Ouch. Anyone know a reliable place that does a fabulous job that is cheaper?

Dear Rachel. I `m convince of the fact the price you pay for what you want depents on: the time and place you buy it. If you despairing want/need it you alwas pay the first price. So take you time to look around.

@raebell Do you have A.C. Moore or Michaels in Texas? I have them both here, both are craft stores, and they alternate weeks in which one of them has 40% off sales for custom framing.

About two years ago I got my first magazine cover shot framed. It was about 15x18 as well, I got a nice wooden frame with protective glass cover and backing, and it only cost me about $40.

I usually find that if you're buying less than five, go local. It's cheaper, and the S&H is what really kills you.

Where are you? US? I go to Hobby Lobby. They do a great job, and they ALWAYS have coupons in the paper for 1/2 off and other good deals.
