home depot flood276 / 365I went to Binghamto N.Y. over the weekend. This is one of the stores
that was flooded. What a mess. I feel bad about this, but much worse about the people with the personal loss because of the flood. I took this picture, but could not take pictures of thge personal stuff. Seeing it with my own eyeswas more than enough. I don't want to look at photo's over and over. There were many that not only lost items, but their houses are condemed.. I know that there are many others across our U>S>A that go through this devistation, but seeing it in an area where I once lived is hard to take. My prayers go out to all that were caught up in this hard time in their lives Actually this home depot is Johnson City N.Y.

I feel for all who were impacted by the flooding. My prayers are with them. I took some pictures after the tornado in my city, but could not bring myself to share the ones that showed the most devastation. The pictures just made me too sad.

@rrt My son used to coach at Binghamton University, so of course our hearts go out to those who have to rebuild and recoop. We drive past this store on our way to visit another son who lives near Rochester. Sad to see!

@rrt We got hit really hard here in Vermont. I went where I could and took pictures of the aftermath. I used one for my 365. They are still in the process of getting roadways opened and repaired. One major highway was just opened to traffic but they are still working on it. A town in Vermont got completely cut off. A lot of people lost their homes and their homeowner's insurance won't pay for anything because it doesn't cover flood. It's going to take a long time for us who were affected by Irene to recover... both emotionally as well as rebuilding. A shopping plaza in New Hampshire has to be completely torn down because the flooding caused structural damage.
