the past 4 days i was in the hospital and i couldn't believe how nice the community of 365 is. i am so thankful for all of you! photography is so useful when you're feeling so down. I loved browsing through everyone's photos to cheer me up and I just wanted to say thank you for all the people who commented on my pictures the past few days. you are all amazing. i never knew photography could really boost someones mood.
I'm so glad it helped you at a tough time - I'm new to all this and amazed and warmed at how there's suddenly a community around the world looking at all our little snapshots (and works of art in some cases) and being so encouraging. Yes, the photos are inspiring and uplifting and I get a chuckle every time I go browsing and feel like I have a whole batch of new friends. Keep up the recovery and take care :) x
Stephy you are so right about the 365 community I also have just come out of hospital and like you I have found warmth and comfort in viewing the wonderful Photos that people have posted! That's lovely of you Stephy. A friend of mine recently started this. On about day 3 she hadn't got a photo by late afternoon so she grabbed her teenage son and went out for a walk to find something to take a photo of. She eneded up having a lovely stroll over some nearby fields chatting to her son, and took a lovely shot. I said to her 'See, 365 is good for the soul!' It's not just a case of getting a photo on every day, it's a little target every day and something to get you motivated to do things.
I've been a bit slack lately but if you can post from your hospital bed I really have no excuse!! You're an inspiration!! :) Take care
