Hi everyone! I was interested to know how many of you attended the Scott Kelby Third Annual Worldwide Photo Walk in your area? I'm in Jacksonville, Florida and it was well worth getting out of bed for and meeting my group at 7 a.m. I thought it would be cool if we all shared our favorite of the day and we could tag them scott-kelby-photo-walk.
Ours is on Sunday. Can't do it on a Saturday on a home (football) game day in this town.
I'm signed up, but a little nervous about going. I'm very much an amateur and am slightly intimidated, plus am not comfortable with groups of people (unless it's at a football game :) ). We'll see. . .
OK, so I did it. I sat in my car outside, almost left, then forced myself in (intimidation, anti-social, etc. Yes, I have issues :) ).
So, we were in the downtown of where I live, some of which is listed on the National Historic Register. They are expecting the rest of the downtown to be added to it by January. They wanted to see emphasis on unique architectural features of the area.
So, I was basically unhappy with my results. Here's the two I uploaded here.
I just liked the reflections on the wall here.
And I wish I had the door a bit more to the left. However, I think I was focused on the light/string/shadows so maybe the composition isn't too far off.
Oh, I was also interviewed by a college journalism student. She's going to email me with whatever she writes.

This is mine from the photowalk I joined in Brisbane, Australia. It's also my 365 shot for today :)
Great to see other moments from around the world for the same event!
