Last weekend I did my first paid gig. It is something that just kind of fell in my lap. My SIL asked me to do my nephew's senior pictures. It turned out to be a great shoot. He was really easy to work with. Score one for teen age boys! ;-) Well, one of the other football mom's from my son's football team heard that I was doing my nephew's pictures and has asked me to do her daughter's senior pictures. I am scheduled to do them next weekend. I'm really flattered and excited about this. I have loved to take pictures since my grandmother gave me my first camera when I was in 3rd grade back in the 70's. And, now people want to pay me to do it. How cool is that?
@crickle1969 That's great Chrystal!! Your portraits are so nice! I've known a few people over the years who have begun doing this and it's a great supplemental business- or a full time one. It's great because you can pick and choose when and when not to work. Congratulations!! You're on your way! We'll all be able to say we knew you when!
