Trouble Viewing Large

October 9th, 2011
Hey, ya'll
I was wondering if anyone has this problem: when I view a photo using the magnifying glass at the top of the page, to make it larger, I can only see part of the picture. I can't scroll down in any way to see the rest of the picture. I've tried "grabbing" it with the little hand on the photo, and I've tried using the scroll bar on the right side of the screen. Nothing works. Is this just my computer acting up, or is this a world-wide problem?
Thanks!

It's probably your screen resolution. I have the same issue on my laptop at work. Try hitting F11 to view full screen in your browser. This may help.
n.b. I do this using Google Chrome, I hope it's the same shortcut in other standard browsers.

This feature has never yet worked. As @sburbidge says, the only solution is to "view full screen" on your browser.

@samdan @2thgirl Yep.....F11 will take the search bar and borders of your browser and hide them. You can move your mouse over them to get them to re-appear!

For Mac users, to view full screen, click command, shift, F simultaneously.

Try using google chrome. Everything seems to work better for me when I use it.

I'm using Google Chrome. I tried F11 and it made it slightly larger, getting rid of the frame, but I still can't see the whole picture. It may be my computer. It doesn't recognize that it has a sound card anymore, and the memory card slot won't work, either. GRR!!

What I normally do is click on the "View more sizes" under "Details", then copy the link for the original size and view it in a new window. It is a few extra clicks but then I can enjoy a photo at the full size. :)

This is still a problem in June, 2012. :-( It's this way on various computers, screen resolution is fine, same using explorer, mozilla and chrome. It's a bummer for sure.
