I've been looking into the Canon Wide Angle EF 35mm f/2.0 Autofocus Lens. It was recommened by a friend. It affordable.

Does anyone use this lens? Should I go for it or keep saving?

I use the 28mm F/1.8 USM and I love it. Super sharp, and no focusing issues even in low-light. By the looks of it, the 35mm f/2 isn't a USM, so, hell... I'm really not sure.

@gurry Thanks for your input Gary and you are right the lens that I am looking at isn't USM. :(

I often use pbase.com when looking at lenses. You can see what regular people are producing with that lens, and some of the images are available at high resolution.
