I shoot with the d7000. i love it. the only thing I was not too happy with was the kit lens i got with it. The 18-105 is not the sharpest lens around. Its ok, but don't expect to get the d7000's full potential out of it. I love it with the 35mm 1.8, it just blows my mind.
I have one. Don't know the half of what it can do, but still loving it!Besides the kit lens, I have a 50mm lens that I love!!! and just got a 70-300mm lens.
Hi. I'm a D7000 owner. Currently only have two lenses - the 18-105 and 70-300. My next buy will be a macro lense and a external flash. I am still in the process of getting to know what my camera is capable of. Sure I'll learn a lot from you guys!
I've literally just posted these in the Barns discussion! But here you go...
These shots aren't taken by me. (Of course not - they are of me!) This is a promo shoot I did recently.
This shoot was done by my friend, and top pro photographer, Steve Hunt, and he uses a D7000. You can visit Steve's website, if you want to see more of his work.
I shoot with D7000 and love it. Have the 18-105 and 70-300 lens as well as a prime. There is so much to learn on this camera but certainly worth it. The pictures are super shart and color perfect. Go for it :)
I also just recently got a D7000 for my anniversary. I enjoy it. Lots to learn. I just recently did my niece's senior pictures. I posted a few of them.
I'm new to the 365 site, but I did want to share that my husband and I both invested in the D7000 this past year, an upgrade from his D90 and my D3100. On my camera, the Nikkor 18-200mm lens stays on 80% of the time, the F 1.8 / 50 mm the other 20% of the time. We both enjoy and highly recommend this camera.
Almost all of my shots from January are from the D7000, I also have other Nikon camera (D70, D200 and a P300). The camera is the best of all that I've owned. I've started shooting DSLR videos as well. Great piece of gear. I have numerous lenses that I've purchased over the years, but the 18-200mm, 50mm, and 35mm are on most of the time. Sometimes I shoot with a Sigma 50-500mm.
I jumped up from a D5000 to a D7000. The D90 was in my sights for a long time. But my husband said get the newest so I did. However, I got to say there is a learning curve even from D5000 to D7000. Learning where things are and what the camera can do. I have a hard time seeing the screen on top with info but getting use to pushing info button. I am learning just keep trying different things.
