Hi, sorry if this has been posted before. I'm trying to decide which lense I should save for first in addition to my kit lense and I just came across this Nikkor simulator which I thought quite handy for anyone new to Nikon DSLRs.
It totally depends on what style of photography you are trying to do. It looks like your album is mostly close ups and landscapes. I think you are on the right track with the 55-300 choice, IMO anyway. Thanks for the cool link also.
@shadesofgrey no problem. Really my choice is between the 55-200 and the 55-300. Its just down to money but with that little simulator I can see that its probably worth saving the extra for the extra range - it makes quite a difference :)
I've recently purchased the 70-300mm and although it may tug at the rubles especially at this time of year it may be a regret to "short" your purchase. There will be times when you wish that you had that extra length and this may be your only telephoto purchase. At least that's how I came to the decision to go with the longer lens.
