Heyy there, I was just wondering if anybody had an explanation for the above! It seems bizarre to have a view-comment ratio as skewed as this... Is is that I'm getting views from elsewhere on the internet perhaps, or that 365 members are looking at my photos, but don't comment for whatever reason? Just curious :) And is anybody else having the same thing going on?
The 400 views to 3 comments is an extreme example but its not just the one day (although its been a lot better over the last week) Anybody know? :) xx

My friend Dana has 80 views and no comments. She does post on facebook, so that may be part of it.

My son went through my entire album one day. He didn't comment, just wanted to see all of my shots again. Since he's on a different computer, that added up to over 300 views one day with no comments from him. Could be someone is looking through your entire album perhaps?

Are you referring to the views being on one photo? I have one photo that still gets view but no comments. I even started a thread about it a few months ago but I never found out why. It has 1327 views and only 1 comment. Every week it gets comments. I can only assume someone has posted it somewhere else with the link to my project. http://365project.org/kiwichick/365/2011-02-09

My ratios aren't that extreme, but I do have a number of views and rarely any comments.

It means they were speechless, Izzy. Great job. ;)

It can happen. This shot of mine has 2219 views but only 35 comments including my own responses.

@webfoot I don't actually look at my stats, because early on I realized they just didn't jive, but Paul's answer makes sense. I know that my husband, father and brother all look at my photos, but don't comment because they aren't part of this project. They just like to look at my photos because they're interested in what I'm doing. @brumbe Paula's FB idea seems really valid too.

What @lauriehiggins said :)
People click on it from Facebook, and other non-365ers follow too...and sometimes go back to show their family etc

I suspect the Facebook hypothesis too.

Thanks you for your replies! I think the facebook explanation is pretty plausible too - though I wouldnt have thought many of my fb friends know about 365 or are interested enough to check back regularly! :P but who knows?
@kiwichick now that I think about it they must be spread over many, otherwise anomalous amounts of views would show up on the individual photos. hmm. thanks for your explanations, they're very appreciated :)
@jasonbarnette aw, as if :P thank you :)
