My husband definitely gets husband of the year for this one! We go to visit family for the holidays, so our gift exchange always happens a few days early. I got to open my present tonight, and it was a 100mm f/2.8L IS USM lens! Now mind you, I have no business owning such an amazing lens, but I'm really excited to get to learn how to use it. I expect some truly terrible photo fails in the mean time, but I'm excited for the opportunity to expand my skills and once again be pushed outside of my comfort zone.
awww, that was so sweet of your husband! i bet he was as excited to give it to you as you were to receive it. did you jump up and down....hehe.....i would have!!
