Show me something unique

December 29th, 2011
I'm having a bit of a post Christmas slump. My creativity is really low and I've tried looking through photos but keep seeing another take on the same shots, not that there's anything wrong with them I just would like to see something different.

So, if you have a really unique/diffferent take on a photo please share it here.

(Also, I know there are no really unique photos as I'm sure every picture has been taken by someone else, somewhere before)

I know that is not totally unique and others have tried it but I love it...

This was a close up, and if the lights good, it should come out with a black background like this

There is always the option of "editing frenzy" to make an ordinary scene look extraordinary ;). It's what I do when I don't know what else to do.

Staying creative is always a challenge. Here are some attempts for me.
Kaleidoscope: taking a pie-shaped portion of a photo and duplicating it in PS to create a cool kaleidoscope effect.

This fist shot was harder to do than I imagined. Took many shots to get the timing right.

How about his one I took yesterday? My girl and I thought we would do a "little people" series, she had the idea of the sugar With the brolly, then it evolved with the mixer.
