The road is on the Norwegian west coast and links together a number of small islands. I haven't been there yet but it must be paradise for a landscape/nature photographer.
This Christmas the weather has been really bad here on the coast with one storm after the other. Here's a video someone took from the Atlantic road a few days ago... it was quite windy ;-)

@helstor My goodness- windy doesn't do it justice! Proceed with caution is certainly the motto for this road! It's still quite beautiful though. Thanks for sharing the link!
