I just joined the site so I can start the project at the beginning of the new year. I have been wanting to do this for a long time now. I am so excited to get started, and to learn new things with my photography throughout the year.

@5unflow3r I have five days also. That is just too funny but glad I am doing it again. It seems that my boyfriend Ed is considering giving it a go this year.
I did this on 2010, and I've missed the site (IE the amazing people) more than the project itself. But I'm super excited to start it again tomorrow! =)
@mizztn Do whatever you want! You can do it as a blog, a record of what's going on, to improve your photography, it's entirely up to you. There are themes each week, to help with inspiration, and a few people in the community organise their own challenges too, so keep an eye on the Discuss area :)
Welcome newbies! I just finished my first year, but I am addicted and will probably won't be able to make it a day without stopping in to see some great photos. I look forward to finding some new people to follow!
I started at the beginning of this year then lost my way with the death of my mother in July and never found my way back, but I've miss you all! Really look forward to starting again tomorrow. Happy New Year to you all.

I'm starting this tomorrow, I'm so excited. I have been browsing the photos from all these people and all I can say is WOW, pretty much all of them are so amazingly beautiful, I hope that some day I will be able to take great photos like those.
I am starting tomorrow! Do you use the site free of charge, or is it worth paying the $20 or so for the extras? Can't wait to get started.

Hi guys, ive started this project a few times, always been mid year and so i want to start from scratch at the start of the year, im hoping to do 3 365 albums, one for me, and one for each of the kids where i want a photo a day of them. im hoping to not have any gaps :-)
Yes, welcome all the newcomers, and congrats to all the finishers. I finished mine on December 31st, and while I am glad to be done, I will be eternally grateful that I did this project, and completed it with not a single day missed.
I won't be doing this exact same thing in 2012, but I hope to do some other photo projects. And the community here is so great, even if I'm not uploading every day, I see no reason not to hang out and spend time with all the other wonderful photographers.
Happy New Year everyone, I started my 365 project last October and still a long way away in finishing it. It has helped me a lot in terms of taking pictures and editing my pictures. I also gained friends and discovered amazing and great pictures. Looking forward to the new year! And hope to see more spectacular pictures and meet new friends!
