Thank you so much to @30pics4jackiesdiamond for hosting the last round of the MFPIAC challenge, as well as to the other participants/voters! I'm honoured that my collage of my hometown won round 125, and am excited to be the host for round 126!
I am new to this long-running challenge so I hope that the theme I've chosen has not been done too recently (from what I could ascertain, I don't think it has). I see a lot of pictures on 365 of plants-- gardens, wildflowers, trees, floral arrangements-- but I don't think there is a challenge that covers them regularly, so I thought that "Flora" might be a fun theme for this round of MFPIAC. Some definitions of flora include fungal as well as plant life, so mushrooms are fair game for this challenge as well.
You need to arrange 6 photographs in a collage, on the theme. The photographs can be taken specifically for the collage challenge, taken from your archives or your own 365 albums. BUT for every image you must have clicked the shutter and been taken by you.
Placing photographs in a collage is a powerful way to present thematically connected images. A carefully considered and well-designed collage gives the images a power that they might not otherwise have had when viewed seperately.
Your collage can be any shape, but MUST contain only 6 photos.
There are many photo collage making tools and apps; PhotoCollage, PicCollage, PiZapare , PicsArt. Picmonkey, Ipiccy, Befunky and Moldiv. There are free to use web collage makers and Photoshop and Affinity can build collages, as I'm sure other editing suites can.
Challenge dates for this round will be November 4th to 30th.
