Tip please on how to capture the bokeh...I am not doing it right!

I always put my camera on Av, and set the focus to manual. Play around with the focus, and it should work. How are you trying to do it?

Ahhhh..well that makes sense.
I figured out anything with a flash is OUT....and I was just playing with different settings...Lowering my aperture to lower DOF and the like.
