Back on the street (again), but with a Vespa owners meet up (and a delightful light reflection on the leader's heart)!

I love this! Fabulous PoV. I do wish I could own one but with the amount of stupid large SUV's and trucks around here, it would be suicide.

@joysabin I understand. Driving a motorcycle or scooter for daily commuting in Rome is kind of surviving a war day everyday!
@kali66 No more. A vespa was the first motorcycle I owned and I and my wife (then my fiancée) bought it and used to go to work together every morning. Pretty much "Vacanze romane", save that we weren't on vacation and we weren't Audrey Hepburn and, above all, Gregory Peck... ;-)

@vignouse dire there’s no comparison. And I ride a BMW R1200 GS nowadays. But the Vespa still is a nostalgia machine for me!

Nice reflection on the heart. Vespa is a myth but I recently discovered that it is an object of desire also in VietNam
