Incredible lens, fabulous system, the Spotmatic with Takumar 50 f: 1,4... Straight from another world (as a matter of fact, this pole is from another world, namely Bristol, New England!) @pickerandagrinner
The pole seems to have an empty baked bean can attached near the top - in fact, it looks like it has been the victim of one of my father's infamous repairs. Ill take your word for it on the lens - they still frighten me!
@helenhall Haha, once I installed a ceiling fan in my bedroom. Don't know what went wrong, but to have sufficient light for a night reading I needed a category 5 hurricane inside... Thank you for your words of appreciation, this lens is indeed wonderful! @golftragic Thank you very much, Marnie. Actually I have been shooting with everything I happened to hold in hands for the last 40 years... I'm daring, more than brave ;) @seattlite Thank you a lot. It is quite an impressive energy network out there! @joysabin Thank you, Joy, indeed a wonderfully crisp lens and what for a film, very contrasty, but such a fine grain... @s4sayer Thank you very much, Margo. Yes, sometimes a humble ant perspective can supply unexpected results!
