They say he was the handsomest of angels, his name meaning "he who brings the light" (from the latin "Lucem"-light and "Fero" (to bring). Last Saturday I bartered my Leitz 50mm Summilux with a Leitz 50mm Summicron, I like much more. This is the very first shot with the "new" lens
@caterina Thank you so much, Caterina! @deborah63 Thank you Debbie, hope to get around a little over the weekend... @graemestevens Oh yes, with a. penchant for warm places... @seattlite Thank you a lot! @joysabin Thank you, Joy, that's the sense of the tale, in my opinion. Quite tragically, evil has roots in the good. @joemuli Thank you, Joey. @s4sayer Thanks a lot, Margo. I have been fighting with myself over this lens for a while. The position of the sun with this statue just outside the shop made me think sometimes giving in to temptation is just the right thing! ;)
I am seeing your pictures of the Cesena trip on the big screen for the first time and I like them even more. In particular the Biblioteca is really a great picture (and a great place) I have work for more than 20 years near Cesena but the only place I know of that city is the Paediatric Dept. I must go there one day!
@caterina thank you, Caterina! I'm sure Cesena would deserve some more time than I had, actually! After all, they reward very good authors... lol @hrs Thank you very much! I hope I will be able to make it justice. The few shots I took so far are very encouraging! @yaorenliu It is, of course! It wasn't easy to align it with a rangefinder without trying to blind my right eye... Thanks a lot! @helenhall I shouldn't... though as a lawyer I should have my place reserved since long... @mbrutus Thank you a lot, Mr. B... Hope I did not burn out my retina looking straight in the sun...
Very nice work. Looking forward to seeing more of your new lens
