20 years ago in January, Quebec was hit with freezing rain which took down power towers and left many Quebecers in the cold without electricity for days and even weeks for some towns. So when we hear freezing rain is coming, there is always that bit of concern; is going to be like 1998. We missed it this time, but the results of the freezing rain we did have were worth the drive to photograph.
