Snowy Day

2017.03.12 Sunday: Last night we had a beautiful snowfall that was quite heavy at times. My sons and I watched enthralled as it softly fell past a nearby streetlight. This was the only snow that my area has experienced this year; it came quite late in our winter!

Despite the heavy snowfall, our weather has been so warm lately that we had very little accumulation -- and what we did have melted quite quickly as the sun rose.

It always nice to have some snow, at for us in Southern England. The bird doesn't seem too worried about the snow.

It's good for the ground though when it soaks in. Looks like this Junco didn't mind one way or another.
