2017.06.07 Wednesday: Last night a rare-for-this-time-of-year cold front arrived in my area, lowering temps and humidity to luxuriously comfortable levels.
At this time last year, it was so hot and humid that I mostly stayed indoors with the A/C running constantly; I could only venture outdoors to enjoy nature near sunrise or sunset.
This year, however, this wonderful cold front lowered temperatures so much that we have turned off our A/C and flung open our windows to let the refreshingly cold breeze waft throughout our home! I woke up this morning to the awesome sound of birds cheerfully singing their dawn songs as glorious rays of sunlight illuminated the tops of nearby mountains.
It is wonderful to be able to enjoy "the wild" from indoors as well as outdoors!
We've not had a warm spell in Pa. yet. I can't wait till we get one. Perhaps next week. I am a warm weather person. Nice shot out the windows. Looks like a nice clear day there. Cold and rainy here.
