2017.06.19 Monday: My son (who is six-foot tall) standing at the back of our garden in front of one of our sunflowers ...This gives scale to show how tall these plants are this year!

As a note of interest, he is standing beside our peach tree -- One that we bought because the tag on it said that it only got 8-foot tall! (We thought that it would be easier to harvest the fruit on a smaller tree.) Presently the tree, which is now 3 years old, is about 5-foot in width and 15-foot tall -- and getting bigger with each passing year!
Great way to get across the size of the plants -- what a green thumb you must have :)

You need a ladder to take a close up of the flower ;-)

Wow! I'm amazed at how tall your sunflowers are! Excellent idea to add your son to the photo to show scale. I agree with Marcy...you certainly have a green thumb!! :-)
