2017.07.04 Tuesday: Happy Birthday, America! I hope that all of my 365 Friends who celebrate the 4th had a wonderful day!
My family celebrated with our usual food: Chicken stew, watermelon, and Cream Cheese Delight topped with blueberries and strawberries.
Cream Cheese Delight is one of my favorite desserts ...The crust is a simple cookie crust made of butter and sugar; while the filling is cream cheese, whipped topping, and confectioner's sugar blended together. It is quite versatile: The dessert can be topped with any fruit or pie filling, and some people even top it with various flavors of pudding for an ultra-rich taste.
To end the day, we stood in our yard and watched fireworks as many of our neighbors sent beautiful displays soaring in to the sky.
