seriously... by earthbeone

seriously...

treating with an herbicide
along the pond shores NATIVE PLANTINGS ????????

what about the turtle eggs that are buried there along the banks...or the snakes that I watch slip into their homes along the banks...or the frogs that rise up from under the mud on the shore...or the herons, ducks, egrets that eat the fish that are swimming in the shallow waters...or the moths, butterflies & birds that eat the nectar/seeds from the NATIVE PLANTINGS along the shore?????

all chemicalled.

isn't that the point? Native plantings to restore & draw wildlife at a PARK?

seriously...the quest for controlled lush green spaces in the city of Plymouth is affecting the quality of medicine lake...where children, adults and their pets recreate in.

the lake is then treated AGAIN for poor water quality.

perhaps we as a society need to take a look at what we are doing to the environment...considering we are breathing it, eating from it and are IN IT.

can you say HEALTH ISSUES????

it is all cyclical. what goes around comes around.

not ok.

from the book of pond notes....

not ok i agree
