Green heart by edorreandresen

Green heart

This building is being demolished and the materials salvaged for reuse. How neat is that in our little town?

That's great- I've never seen that done before- and how it always should be if the materials are safe enough!

It’s great when you can salvage and use again materials that are still good. We have many salvage yards around our area where you can get anything from a tile to go on the wall or a kitchen sink or floor boards all at reasonable prices

@olivetreeann So cool! They said it costs significantly more than a regular demolition. Neat to see the caring. Thanks for peeking!

I have a friend who lives near a place that takes in materials for repurposing. She says it's amazing what's considered reusable and then what people end up doing with the materials. It's great that your town is doing the same.
