Across the road from the River Thames, between Tower Bridge and London Bridge, is St Dunstan's.
St Dunstan's was bombed during World War 2 (By "enemies of the King" says a church up the road from it)- after the war it was decided to leave the church as a ruin and turn it into gardens .. Summer you can't move in there, but on a cold and wet February lunchtime you get the whole place to yourself.
