Instead of my normal 1 hour train journey straight into London, today (and yesterday) I had ...

40 minute journey to intermediate station
30 minute bus journey to London Underground station
40 minute London Underground journey to station.

And return ... Plus the waiting for trains, buses and underground trains ...

And I pay over £4000 a year for the pleasure.
