Eldest went off on a school trip to Auschwitz at 2am this morning, which meant we had to be at school for 01:30am. I did ask Eldest not to cause any international incidents and to remember she's still banned from Finland ... at which point one of the parents moved away from us! He moved even further when I and next-door neighbour Sarah (Whose daughter is also on the trip) started singing 'So long, farewell ..." from Sound Of Music. And we included the dance steps in the middle.
Took myself off for a walk at lunchtime and visited my favourite record shop (Rough Trade East). Flicked through David Byrne's book 'How Music Works'. May treat myself one day.
