Eldest has spent the week in Krakow, Poland with her school, visiting Schindler's Factory, the salt mines, and Auschwitz.
She spent a full day at Auschwitz, and was asked to lay a candle at the foot of the Death Wall.
House was quiet without her ... though I knew she was home by her empty bedroom, with the light on ...! Eldest is modelling the gingerbread heart inscribed with 'I love you' in Polish. Love you more sweetheart.
