It rained most of the day today, but it was nice enough in the morning to go for a bike ride on the beach. It was so gorgeous just riding on the beach watching my husband and my son. My son was so cute just sitting in his seat wearing his helmet and enjoying the experience. The beach was mostly deserted, but this poor life guard looked miserable just sitting there as the sand whipped down the beach. Since it was really, really windy, so we rode downwind on the beach, and then took to the bike paths to get back to my parent's condo. The little man was so tired from the whole experience that he ended up taking almost a three and a half hour nap, so I spent the afternoon with my mom, grandmother, aunt and cousin. We had a nice afternoon and just spending time together and laughing.
My husband, son and I just got back from 10 wonderful days on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, so I am playing catch up on editing and uploading my photos from the trip.
Hey you're back! Yay! Love the primary colours of this shot. That poor lifeguard looks miserable! I never even thought about that, I just assumed they got the day off when the weather was bad - guess not, poor guy!
@leebo81 Thank you. Sorry for the delayed response. It looks soft because The soft, loose sand was blowing over the harder sand. It was a really cool looking effect to just see the sand swirling down the beach.
