I had a wonderful day today. My sister Katie @mcdougall and her husband Mike invited themselves over to watch the NY Giants playoff game. They brought pizza, so it was ok. At half-time, we went and looked at two open houses for them. I, of course, LOVED the one that was two streets over (it was the better house anyway). Then, we had ice cream sundaes and watch the Giant win. My sister and I then took a walk on the golf course to take some photos. It was really cold, but the sky was gorgeous.
@amritdpatel There really is no formula that I follow. I find that it is a lot of trial and error and personal preference. I would say that the one thing that is pretty essential is a tripod. I have been without mine before and my bracketed shots did not line up because I moved just a little. Here is the tutorial that I learned from. http://meckimac.com/hdr-tutorials/hdr-tutorial-part-1-high-noon-light/ I don't do everything on here, but I thought it was a pretty good start. I use Photomatix. I'm not sure what software you use to process HDR. If I can ever answer any questions, please let me know. I would love to help. Good luck!!
@carrapeta00 It is funny because we go out and shoot together some times, so this is not the first time that we have ended up with almost identical photos. It is the first time that we have edited them similiarly though!
Another newb comment... again, choosing pics from your album that pop from the calendar... I'm realizing that HDR is more common than I'd known... This vs your sister's is fascinating. I'd be interested to have seen the unprocessed versions... overwhelming how many new things one can pursue through this project...
the Giants had a great game!
how funny... the pics are sooo similar ;)
