Wedding Photography Help, Please

Critique Welcome
this is a sweet image...I'd love to see more detail in the dress, though...just a touch overexposed.

I like that you've caught a photographer, because part of a wedding is the picture-taking.

I really like it and I like the B&W contrast. you could maybe have had more clarity to the whole dress and the shoes? But I like the soft focus

I love the pov of this shot, and catching the other photographer in the shot really gives it a sense of occasion. The dress is perhaps a little blown out on the whites, but that would be my only critique, as it is a lovely shot.

I agree with the above and good that you have caught the photographer too. The dress is a bit blown out, but still a beautiful shot.

I agree with all, but think that the other photographer in the pic is a bit distracting, and maybe not one the family would particularly want. Since the back of the dress is so pretty with the bow, a good idea to get a rear shot, too. It's sweet.

@krenneker @cejaanderson @denisefuller @888rachel @onewing @vstap Thank you so much for your comments! I agree that the dress is too blown out. The light was so low in there and I didn't have a flash, so I brightened it up in Lightroom (probably too much.)

It was a great idea to capture a bit of the photographic activity which is usually part of a wedding.

Great capture of the moment. Photographing white under harsh lighting is tough. Sometimes adjusting the highlights in post processing helps.
