@johnmaguire Does the D850 have a compressed view on its lens? I’m trying to think of my camera(film/digital) terminology and am not grasping compression. Or do mean non wide lens shot?
@sutlivesam I'm referring to lens compression - when using a telephoto lens (Exif here says 300mm) objects in the background appear larger and closer to the foreground than they otherwise might. In this case, I like the way it made the moon look so large in the frame!
@johnmaguire I understand the general concept of a zoom lens, however I don’t see any reference to 300mm which I assume is the zoom lens in your case. I still think it is an awesome photo!
@sutlivesam Ah! I'm not sure if Erika used a zoom lens or a prime but if you look on the right side of the page there's a spot that says "Exif - View Info" where you can see the focal length used if the Exif hasn't been scrubbed.
