Today we went around to different clinics in the Khongoni area and talked to different women who are HIV positive and are using Water Guard. HIV patients are highly susceptible to infections, so using clean water is very helpful to them. This portrait is of Agnew Pofera and her two children. All of the women and children we met were so welcoming. I used my 5 Chichewa words over and over and learned some new ones. Also took about 200 photos of kids who kept chasing me. They were great. So excited about having their picture taken. A refreshing change from the US where people often run from cameras.
