Runnin their little hearts out.
This was during a brief time out in the game.
They didn't waste a second.
I was covering a basketball game at a school we usually don't cover and it was just the best.
I like the smaller schools because people get so excited.
This school even bought two new sets of bleachers to pack in all the fans.
Also, I might note, that all the fans were coming for the girls game.
Which was played after the boys game because it was the main event.
This never happens.
Props to this school.
Ironic though, because I was not feeling well and decided that I would only go to the second half of the girls game and then the first few minutes of the boys.
But then I show up and it's the one game of the entire season in the entire city that the girls played after the boys.
I was only half upset though because I respected them too much for making the girls the main event.
So I ended up staying for all of both games.
And half of the jv boys game.
Which they even offered to shorten for us (us being the reporter and I) since they were running behind schedule.
Such power we hold.
