So I went to a Texas high school football game to see what all the hullabaloo was about.
The game was not that great.
But let's talk about the halftime show.
At first they put like 15 minutes on the clock for halftime and I was like "Oh, that's awesome. I don't have to wait a long time."
But so wrong was I.
That 15 minutes was something like the first quarter of halftime.
At least twenty minutes were added after that ran out.
And I'm pretty sure there was an intermission.
Everyone performed. EVERYONE. I half thought they were going to start taking requests and volunteers from the audience.
Don't get me wrong. I love a good marching band.
But do I love to hear your entire repertoire?
Not so much.
