Our last night on the Amadante finished with a city lights cruise of Budapest. There was a flotilla of boats of all sizes trailing up one side and down the other, and people on the bridges waving and calling out as we sailed underneath.
The Hungarian Parliament Building, or Országház is built in the Gothic Revival style. Construction began in 1885 but by the time it was completed in 1904, the architect had gone blind - how sad that he never saw it like this.
