20141201 Christmas is coming...

The city's Christmas decorations have begun to appear, and the pohutukawa trees are in bloom. Even the cars are colour-coordinating :-)

@gilbertwood thx; I have a small pohutukawa in a pot on my deck, which should be flowering soon. It must be some sort of cultivar as is has variegated leaves - the tree in my photo is what they really look like - it is often referred to as the New Zealand Christmas tree :-)
