Each evening we look forward to seeing the Moonflowers open for their brief stay then slowly fade away by mid morning. We will enjoy another display of new flowers the following evening. It is an amazing show each day. Wonderful on black.
This has a pretty flower but I think it's the stuff I curse as it twists round the shrubs & hedges in our garden if I let it! Can't remember what we call it but you see it in hedges. Perhaps it's a different plant but the leaves look very similar too, I'm always pulling it out!
Are you thinking of Morning Glories? Moonflowers have to be planted by seed each year and some of them have a wonderful fragrance.
