It's pretty overcast here today and the sky is dull. Headed to several spots in town, snapping several shots and decided to post this one. It's Fountain creek that runs through a small town in Manitou Springs.
@viranod Thank you! I commented recently that for living in the Rockies, too many of her shots were B&W! Well, too many for *my* tastes (realizing that I am one person and I didn't see the original shot). Nice one, Wendy! And thanks for a color post! :) It's gray and 40°F today. Again.
i love wendys black and white work and what to see plenty more of it ..... when anyone can get the characteristics of Ansel Adams in thier photography i'm more than impressed .more please wendy :)
I recognise your style now as I scroll down the scores of images in the 'yet to see' category. You've never failed to make the scrolling stop for a closer look. Another lovely shot here too. Great subject of course, but clear definition, bold contrast and well composed.
found this a really interesting shot ..the more i look the more I see in it ..the soft colouring and hidden buildings in the background .....great shot
@rhoing Thanks Thom! Glad you like the color, but as you have noticed, my preference is black and white! I do like variety though, so I will continue to go back and forth!
@gagaburree Thank you so much Gavin! I agree with you about the B&W! It's definitely my favorite style! I do like throwing in color now and then, but am definitely partial to B&W, so thank you!
@twofunlabs @atomic Thank you both so much!
