I have been to this area a few times, but never when the lilacs were in bloom! It was beautiful to walk up this lane and take in the scent!

That is so pretty, I can't wait until the lilacs are out here. Then I'll have to try and find a lilac lane just like this one. Do you carry your tripod around with you everywhere for your HDR photos? I want to try one but haven't yet.
@kiwichick Thank you Lesley! I don't always carry it around. I try as much as possible, but I can usually hold it pretty steady. You could try it and see how it turns out without a tripod. Thanks for asking!
That is simply gorgeous. I think lilacs are my favorite scent of spring. I've discovered one tiny lilac with only a few blooms (must be young tree) at the side of my driveway that I can smell whenever I go to my car. I often walk over and pull a branch down so I can hold the flowers to my nose. These you've captured are so dark in color. I like those better than the white or pale purple ones.
