We had a chance to go up this weekend to Winter Park Colorado. We found a trail off the highway and it led up to this amazing cabin/yurt!! It was a tough climb up with melting ice, but the view was so worth the trek! I would have loved to stay overnight, but duty calls back home. There were people staying in the cabin that were out for a hike somewhere. They had left a fire going and sleeping gear in the cabin. I just loved this hike in the snow and fresh air!
P.S. This cabin was dedicated to a couple that died in an avalanche in this area. There are avalanche warnings posted, especially in open areas in late winter and spring.
