Taken at Cape Arago where we stayed during our trip to the Oregon coast. Such a beautiful place. I took this as a series of three shots with my ND 400 Hoya filter and a graduated 3-stop ND filter. It was high tide and I wanted to smooth out the waves coming onto the shore. The tricky part was trying to keep the log as much in focus as possible as the waves moved it around. Thank you all always for your comments and support!
I enjoyed looking at this for a long time. The over-all scene is gorgeous, and the positioning of the tiny lighthouse just perfect. My personal preference is for a more natural look for landscapes, but your treatment in this particular photo works well. Fav.
I might as well fav all your photos! ;) Will need to pick your brain when I get ready to buy the ND filter and start using it. I have no experience with that . Great logo, too!
