There is still beauty after fire

My house burned down 5 years ago. This shot is taken a 10 minute drive away where a bushfire went through a few weeks ago. I am still learning to manage tragedy as I look at the beauty that survives and grows afterwards. (This is as it came out of the camera - over exposed to high key and slightly de-saturated due to that)
Sorry to hear abt your house, must be hard to bear..... beautiful image....nicely captured

Firstly that is terribly sad for you, nature can be so cruel. I was up in the mountains last week where we had had bad bush back in September last year and it is amazing how quickly things grow back.

I like how you have captured the landscape here, the starkness of the shot really works.

Lastly I hope for you some good has come out of your terrible situation.

Such a devastating thing to happen to you and your family. I hope you managed to save a few treasures. I like the high key effect you have used.

@bella_ss @boxplayer Thank you for your comments. I'm trying to use photography as a way of recording the trauma of fire, but also to move past that to continuing beauty and life
