Softness

An attempt to put the techniques suggested by Peter, Joyce and Babs (from a few days ago) into practice. Please let me know what you think and how I can improve the image while keeping the soft look

Which bit of advice/technique did you decide to go with Robyn? I love the softness, the ant and the spider webs :)

I am not an expert but it looks ondeed very soft. Did you try the tights or the filter?

@gigiflower @kanelipulla I used a combination of shallow dof and slightly higher exposure in camera and then used the highpass filter in photoshop in the processing stage

I'd call this soft focus. Love the narrow DOF and so good of the ant to step into the shot, it really adds another dimention to the photo.
