Thank you very much for all the feedback and compliments @photohoot . Rest assured that I do take plenty of disappointing shots. To help me raise the quality of my posts my approach has been to take photos everyday, toss out the bad ones and put any good candidates in a queue for potential future publishing. I then go through that queue sequentially everyday for a 2nd round of elimination and to choose my daily picture.
This image is amazing. The B&W emphasizes the shapes. Thanks for sharing your workflow. (I tend to keep too many poor images thinking maybe I could edit them.)
